COL FB: Wisconsin 37, Michigan 21
MADISON, Wis., Nov. 10 Tyler Donovan threw for a touchdown and ran for another Saturday as unranked Wisconsin beat No. 13 Michigan 37-21.
The Badgers put the game out of Wolverines' reach by scoring two touchdowns in about one minute late in the fourth quarter. Michigan (8-3, 6-1 Big Ten) came within 23-21 before running out of gas in its rally.
In all, Donovan completed 14 of 27 passes for 245 yards and added 49 yards on six rushes.
Freshman Zach Brown scored twice in the fourth quarter while gaining 108 yards on 27 attempts.
Donovan sustained an undisclosed injury late in the game, but by that time his damage was done for the Badgers (8-3, 4-3), who ran their home-field winning streak to 14 straight games.
Michigan, playing without star running back Mike Hart (ankle) and starting quarterback Chad Henne (shoulder) was led by Mario Manningham, who scored on a 97-yard pass reception in the fourth.
Wolverine freshman Ryan Mallett went 11 for 36 for 245 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.
